Deposit

A $50 - $100 deposit is required when booking an appointment. The deposit is non-refundable and confirms that the potential client is serious about their procedure and schedule date. All deposits are deducted from the total price of the procedure. 

*Deposits are applied to rescheduled appointments only if Shaded Studios is given 72 hours notice before cancelling/rescheduling.

Balance

Payment is due immediately after completed procedure.

Lateness

We recommend that clients arrive 10 minutes prior to the scheduled appointment to ensure that paperwork is completed in full and all questions addressed. Due to the amount of time necessary to complete the services, a client arriving more than 15 minutes past schedule may have the appointment cancelled and deposit forfeited.

*If a client is late due to emergency, we ask that they notify Shaded Studios immediately. Loss of an appointment due to emergency can/will be rescheduled independent of booking software.

 

No Guests

We kindly request that the client arrives to the appointment alone. A great deal of focus and precision is required of each service and we want to dedicate our full attention to each procedure. At Shaded studios it is very important that we create a connection between artist and client. Arriving unaccompanied ensures optimal results. - No friends, spouses, children, or pets allowed unless agreed upon beforehand.

       **Language translators are always welcome/encouraged for the benefit of the client and artist

       **Service animals (Licensed) are always welcome

Cancellations

Please allow 72 hours notice when rescheduling or cancelling appointments. If 72 hours notice is given, it is possible to reschedule a new appointment closer to the original date with the deposit applied.

*Missing appointments with no notice will result in loss of deposit, and could potentially allow Shaded Studios to refuse working with the client in the future.

*Multiple cancellations will result in loss of deposit and Shaded Studios refusing future work with the client.

Touch Up

We strongly encourage our clients to schedule a touch up appointment as soon as possible after the initial procedure. In order to achieve optimal, lasting results, it is imperative that a touch up session is performed to replace any pigment loss that has occurred during the primary healing phase. The Touch Up appointment is required for initial services to solidify the color after the primary healing phase. This type of appointment does not belong to refresh appointments.

*Not following proper after care post initial service could result in multiple touch up sessions.

Touch Up Fee

The cost of the Touch Up is $125 and is not included in the initial service. Touch Up procedures require the same inventory as the initial service and not agreeing to pay for the Touch Up will result in terminating future appointments with the client. The Touch Up fee is required each time a client books this appointment.

Annual Refresh vs Touch Up

The Annual Refresh is a stand alone optional appointment and does not require a Touch Up appointment. The cost of the Annual Refresh is $275 and is only performed for the purpose of giving life back to the Permanent Makeup. This is NOT a Touch Up appointment and does NOT require a Touch Up. 

If a client chooses to come back for a Touch Up appointment after the Annual Refresh they are required to pay the Touch Up Fee.

Healing Time

It is important to understand that services will not show their target, healed look until at least 6 weeks. There is an understandable shock period in the beginning when the tattoo is fresh/flaking/fading. Patience is an absolute requirement and any adjustments should not be made while the tattoo sight is going through its healing phase. The finished look will be achieved after the healing phase of the touch up is completed at around 12-16 weeks from the initial appointment.

Previous Permanent Makeup

**BEFORE BOOKING please contact us via email with close-up/clear pictures of your brows and wait for approval. Once pre-approval is received, feel free to book and confirm your appointment. It is a very delicate process to cover up a different artist's work, and we can not guarantee a spot. There are certain tattoos that require laser/saline removal to be performed before proceeding with new tattoo work.

*Arriving to an appointment with previous work that has not been pre-approved and cannot be corrected could result in the appointment being cancelled and the deposit forfeited.

Scarring & Pre-Existing Medical/Physical Conditions

Please understand that if a guest has scarring/deformity/asymmetry and/or differences in muscle and/or nerve functions of the face that Permanent Makeup may not be the best option depending on what the individual's goals are. Medical forms will be provided to ensure that complete healing has occurred before the procedure begins, however it is the responsibility of the guest to understand if the procedure is approved by their doctor. Please understand that in specific circumstances that perfect symmetry is NOT possible and it is up to the guest as to whether or not they want to proceed. Shaded Studios will provide the safest and most beneficial work for each individual, however it is not responsible for an unrealistic standard.

Discounts

Service prices are fixed and non-negotiable. Discounts and specials may be given according to the will of Shaded Studios. Pushing for a different price consistently or not agreeing to pay the service cost will cause us to terminate any and all appointments scheduled in the future.
