Detailed instructions provided after booking

Prep

We kindly request that clients do not..​

  • Tan by booth or salon two weeks prior to appointment

  • Pluck/wax/thread brow area two weeks prior to appointment

  • Arrive with laminated eyebrows

  • Arrive with facial sunburn

  • Have caffeine/alcohol in their system the day of the appointment

  • Wear heavy eyeshadow/base makeup to appointment

  • Bring friends/partners/children/pets

After Care

  • Avoid hot/sweaty exercise for one week

  • Wash face and apply after care ointment AT LEAST twice a day

  • DO NOT pick/play/pull at scabs during the healing phase

  • Sleep on fresh pillow case 

  • Avoid applying makeup on the tattoo sight

  • Keep face out of direct sunlight for one week

  • Avoid tanning by sun/salon/booth for one week

  • If tattoo sight feels hot or inflamed in the days after the procedure, gently press a bag of cold water/ice on area until comfortable (especially helpful for lips)

 

Washing Guide

*2x a day for normal/oily skin *3x a day for dry skin

  • DO NOT use facial washes containing acids such as Glycolic Acid, Lactic, AHA

  • Gently wash tattoo sight with soaps such as unscented baby soap, Cetaphil, Dove

  • When applying soap use a light touch and do not rub tattoo sight aggressively or with heavy pressure

  • Gently splash water to remove soap 

  • Lightly pat area dry and apply very thin layer of ointment

GENERAL INFORMATION: Healing time for tattooing varies from person-to-person.

The rate of infection is minimal if the aftercare is followed appropriately. It is very

important to remember not to touch the tattooed site without first washing your

hands. Normal body reactions to tattooing may include: redness, swelling, and/or

minor discomfort at the site. If after 48 hours more severe complications occur

(increased redness, swelling or hardness at the site, pus-like drainage, onset of

fever, and/or prolonged pain at the site or respiratory difficulty following tongue

piercing), contact your personal physician.
