Microblading Info

What is Microblading? Microblading is the creation of an eyebrow through cutting tiny hair-like strokes into the skin using a blade. I apply each stroke manually with care to ensure that the style is perfectly customized for each client.

Microblading is suitable for combination or dry skin. People with oily skin or oily dominant combination skin are not the best candidates for Microblading as the oil in the skin can cause the strokes to blur over time.

To begin the Microblading appointment we will discuss your thoughts and desires about your ideal brow and create a game plan just for you! Styles/shapes/colors are 100% custom for each client and are confirmed at this point in the appointment. After details are confirmed I will draw and map the brow shape and have the client approve the brow blueprint.

Once the client has approved the shape, I will apply numbing cream for 30 minutes and then begin the procedure. I will check in consistently to ensure the client's comfort and apply secondary numbing throughout the whole process.

After the brow is finished, after care will be discussed, along with setting a date for the 6-8 week touch up.

A Microblading appointment will last between 2-4 hours depending on skin type and brow design. Please wear clothing that is comfortable and warm.

6-8 Week Touch Up: This appointment is imperative for creating the perfect brow. The skin undergoes slight trauma when Microblading is performed and will try to push the pigment out of the skin by releasing lactic acid. Lactic acid is how scabs are created. Over the healing period, it is normal for strokes to fade 50% from the initial procedure date and for very few strokes to fade entirely. The touch up solidifies color deposit and replaces any pigment loss. The touch up is an additional service with a seperate cost.

FUN FACT: When the strokes are being cut into the skin the sound is very similar to that of velcro.

GENERAL INFORMATION: Healing time for tattooing varies from person-to-person.

The rate of infection is minimal if the aftercare is followed appropriately. It is very

important to remember not to touch the tattooed site without first washing your

hands. Normal body reactions to tattooing may include: redness, swelling, and/or

minor discomfort at the site. If after 48 hours more severe complications occur

(increased redness, swelling or hardness at the site, pus-like drainage, onset of

fever, and/or prolonged pain at the site or respiratory difficulty following tongue

piercing), contact your personal physician.
